| The CARS lab is equipped with a variety of image processing and GIS hardware and software including Sun Sparc workstations, and Pentium based Windows NT machines running Arc/Info, Arc/View, ERDAS Imagine, and IDRISI. The lab is also equipped with a number of peripheral devices including large format digitizers, an E-size scanner, and an E-size color inkjet printer. Additionally, the lab has a field-based radiometer (Exotech 100BX) equipped with MSS and TM band filters. CARS also has access to the Geography department's Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment and community basestation. | |||
